SICUT - Australian designed

SICUT of AUSTRALIA

Robust  -  reliable  -  functional  - Australian designed
Basic bladeware at affordable prices – 100% emphasis on function.

While other Australian knife distributors began importing bladeware in earnest from Central Asia during the 1980s & 90s, Keith Spencer (Matrose Agencies Pty Ltd) turned his attention to manufacturers of affordable cutlery elsewhere.

Under Keith's own brand name of SICUT (Spencer Innovative Cutlery) and to his own designs and prototypes, he first engaged the services of an excellent factory in Pakistan to produce a specialized bladeware of mini Survival Knives for pocket-size kits and functional bladeware for hunters and campers.

An additional range of bushcraft and large working-knives based on traditional designs of our near-eastern neigbours but modified to fit Australian hands was handcrafted in Indonesia.

Spencer prototypes were extensively field tested before becoming SICUT production models.  Australian-designed for Australian usage
